MARCY, NY, Dec. 7, 2010 -- Utica Post 229 recognized Professional Transmission in Marcy on Dec. 6 for its patriotic display of the American flag.

Membership Chair Jack LaPaglia presented NY Department and local Red, White and Blue Awards to Joseph Giannotti, owner of Professional Transmission, during a brief ceremony at the business.

He praised Giannotti “for always flying the American flag in a proper manner.”  The flag is “well lighted at night, and the base of the flagpole is maintained with flowers and greenery throughout the spring, summer and fall.”
